I really do not understand the one star reviews. I walked in and was greeted by a very professional staff. Dr Kanar was very professional and did a fantastic job. He explained to me step by step what was needed to be done. During the procedure I was impressed on how concerned he was for my comfort and pain level.

I've been to Dr. Kanar before and even sent my daughter there-this was years ago. He was great!! But the last time I was there, I could tell he was upset or mad about something when he walked in and didn't talk to me or anything. He just wanted to start right in on my extraction and it's in my chart "I'm a baby at the dentist " I have to have gas first so mask was put on and immediately he wanted to start on the tooth. I told him no way, gas hasn't even started to work. He was not happy about me needing time for the gas to take affect When he started to work on me, he jerked my head around, yanked and pulled! OUCH! I will never go back to him and I let them know that too. I now have neck pain, headaches and jaw aches constant. I can't prove it but I did tell them I'm never again seeing him and I told my regular dentist what happened also. He had to know he was upset, mad, whatever, and he should have taken himself out for the rest of the day and deal with his issues. Something was definitely off but that is no reason to treat patients (I was referred to him) like this and cause pain that I probably will have to deal with going forward. This happened almost a year ago a

Dr. Kanar was the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been treated by. The day of my wisdom teeth extraction he hardly spoke to me before the procedure. His office staff sent me home before I was even fully awake, because I was having a panic attack waking up from sedation, and they did not want to deal with it. My spouse informed be that I was bleeding profusely, and the staff would not help me to keep the gauze in my mouth because they were annoyed with my reaction the the anesthesia. I called his office four times after the surgery to inquire about prolonged numbness and bruising, and was ignored by staff, and told that it was probably my fault I was bruised because I was β€œhysterical” coming out of sedation. When I went into the office to see Dr. Kanar about the numbness he accused me of not reporting the numbness sooner, and when I told him I did call to report it, he ignored me. He was visibly annoyed by my visit and told me I should expect to be numb for a prolonged amount of time, and then exited my exam room while I was still attempting to ask him questions. Truly a terrible doctor with no bed side manner or compassion for his patients. I will not be returning to him for

Dr. Kanar is impatient and has a short temper. If you need to be sedated, you just ruined his whole day. He pulled one of my teeth, and knocked the crown off next to it. After the extraction was done, he put the crown back on. A week later, I had to make an urgent appointment with my family dentist, because I had a burning pain coming from the crown area. After an examination, my dentist revealed that the gum was pinched between the crown and the base. The crown had to be removed, the gum trimmed back, and then was re-installed. I will never go back there. I am driving an additional 45 minutes to G.R. to have a tooth pulled in a couple weeks.

Dr. Kanar was very professional and told me step by step what he was going to do before the surgery. He was concerned about any pain I may incur after my procedure, and addressed all of my questions with true caring and spoke so I could understand everything. I would tell anyone who needs his kind of services that they'll be in the best of care. Even his office staff was wonderful! Thank you Dr Kanar and staff for helping me . Paula T.
